He’s home from the hospital, the infection is going away, and he’s moving more each day. Even so, life feels pretty freaking crazy. Ollie had a ROUGH time adjusting. He woke up one morning with Mem there instead of Mom and Dad. Much later in the day, an absolutely exhausted Mom showed up to bring him to the hospital to see his Dad in a hospital bed. I know in the grand scheme of things,

You guys. My baby starts preschool this week. As our school is a parent co-op, I’ll be there for his first day as I’m the Parent Helper. It is still breaking my heart to think about how much he’s growing up. And next week when he’s there on his own, I’ll be a wreck. All of that aside, here is the meal plan for the week: saturday: dinner out! We packed Applegate chicken nuggets for Ollie, along with fruit and some tomatoes from our garden. He was AWESOME at dinner.  sunday: roasted veggies/sweet potato and chicken. No explanation needed. We put a homemade seasoning mix on

We have another crazy week ahead of us. That’s kind of par for the course these days, but this is even more than the usual. My husband is pulling a number of extra hours for a work project and preschool is only a week away. I’m trying to pretend I’m not a total mess. We’re back from vacation number two and preparing to return to work. I was totally unplugged from my day job but spent lots of time trying to get ahead on ollergy posts (didn’t happen… sorry everyone!) and prepare for the start of preschool. My husband helped with all this and was unfortunately not able to be very unplugged from the day job. It was still a lovely break for us! We made sure this work was only done at night, so we could be totally focused on family during the day. This week I’m trying to bring lots of vegetables into our meals. We all eat

The past few weeks have been CRAZY for us. Lots of summer fun mixed in with travel, a birthday, preschool prep, and the usual stuff. I honestly don’t remember the last time I shared a weekly meal plan with you… Sorry about that! Though I will say, many of them were “leftovers” or “eat out,” so I promise you didn’t miss too much. I got back into it this week and am trying something new by sharing it here instead of just on social media. I like that I can easily share recipe photos, comments, and you have a place to go back to. Let
